Someone, Please Help Me!

Sometimes, it is good to change the scenery, so lately I have been working at my dad's condo in a room he uses for his office.  While I appreciate the extra time I get to spend seeing my dad (after most of his life in NY, he finally moved near me in Florida) it also has been very challenging.

I have often used my dad over the years as my example of the average person in regards to their health outlook.

To sum it up, no matter how good he feels, if a doctor tells him there is an issue, he worries and lets the doctor do to him anything he wants. Now, if my dad feels really bad and the doctor says nothing is wrong, my dad doesn't change a thing in what he is doing.

I am working in the office with the door closed and what I hear on the other side of the door disturbs me so much.

I am 100% sure that too much gas in the body is not a healthy sign and disease is probably brewing inside. I also know that eating the wrong foods or eating foods in poor combinations can cause gas.

Thankfully, my dad has not been diagnosed with any disease and besides high blood pressure medicine, he doesn't take any pharmaceutical drugs. He is not overweight and doesn't overeat.

The issue though is that he has consistent gas. The loudest burps about every 10 minutes like clockwork. Over the years, I've tried to present to him the idea of cleansing and eating more raw foods while following correct food combining. Our conversation often ends in one of us getting stressed because he believes that if a doctor doesn't say it, he doesn't do it.

I have even invited him to visit my raw food retreat with several different doctors speaking, but since they are doctors that I know, they are not real doctors, in his thinking.

I am sad to say my dad is a good example, once again, of the popular society today. It is this exact type of thinking that will make a person appear to be okay, according to the world's standard of health, but then one day get a very serious diagnosis.

My dad's birthday is coming up and he will be 74. I personally would be thrilled if I make it to 74 with no major health issues. I plan to go way beyond 74, and thankfully, my dad is hanging in there.

My dad, like so many others, is at the top of the fence and can fall either way. A person like my dad could change their diet, start exercising and clear up most, if not all the issues that he may have brewing inside him. Or he can decide to keep listening to the doctors and suffer from these same problems that have been warning signs all these years.

I need help dealing with the reality of his choice. Please keep me in prayer.

For those of you ready to react to your warning signs and do something about it, here is a good video for you to check out. I know the interview in this video can help you.
